Karkala, Nov 30: The annual grand feast of Christ the King Church was held on Wednesday November 29. Fr Arthur Pereira, parish priest of St Lawrence Church, Attur offered the solemn Eucharistic celebration. Priests from various parishes of the deanery along with parish priest Fr Lawrence Gomes were the concelebrants.
Parish bulletin 'Tarok' was released on the occasion by Fr Arthur Pereira. The bulletin has been dedicated to all the parishioners who are working abroad and distant lands.
Parish bulletin editor Vitori Karkala, assistant editor Fr Melwyn D'Souza and editorial board members were presented the copies of the book.
Parish council vice-president William D'Souza welcomed the gathering while parish priest Fr Lawrence Gomes proposed the vote of thanks. Hundreds of parishioners participated in the solemn celebration.
