Udupi, Nov 30: A lorry cleaner was killed on the spot after he was run over by the lorry near Reliance petrol pump at Ambalpady here on Wednesday November 29.
The deceased has been identified as Chandrashekhar (25), a resident of Dharmasthala near Beltangady. He was working as cleaner in a lorry. On Wednesday he was getting inside the lorry after filling diesel at the Reliance petrol pump when he slipped and fell down.
But before he could recover and get up, the lorry passed over him. He sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The Udupi town police have registered a case in this regard.
