Mangalore, Nov 28:  North zone Congress members were all on street on Tuesday November 28 morning!  They were seen singing, dancing, imitating etc.

Yes! This is another way found out by the party to lead protest against the JD (S)-BJP coalition government led by H D Kumaraswamy.  The Congress party members staged street-plays in front of the deputy commissioner's office on Monday morning.  Many of the leaders who are often seen delivering speeches, cutting ribbons, posing for photos were seen acting, dancing etc.

The party brought the issues such as failure of the administration in controlling the now-infamous Mangalore riots, commissioner business in helmet and bicycle to school girls scheme,  illegal mining activities etc to the notice of the public by way of street-plays.

Congress leaders Suresh Ballal, former mayors Hilda Alva, Diwakar, Abdul Azim, Shashidhar Hegde, K Ashraf and others led the protest from the front.
