Mumbai, Nov 24: The Income Tax department on Thursday carried out a survey of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s company, Red Chillies Entertainment, on his premises in suburban Bandra to ascertain if norms relating to Tax Deduction at Source had been followed.
"We are carrying out a survey to find out whether norms related to Tax Deducted at Source have been followed by Red Chillies of which Shahrukh and his wife Gauri Khan are directors," commissioner, Income Tax, K M Verma said. He said it was a routine survey.
Red Chillis Entertainment has produced the movies Main Hoon Na and Paheli, starring Shah Rukh Khan.
When contacted, the actor was not available for comment.
