Mangalore, Nov 19: The valedictory function of the South Kanara Police Sports was held on Sunday, Nov 19, at the Police Grounds here.
Inspector General of Police, West Range, H N Satyanarayan Rao, presided over the function. District Sessions Judge DK, H M Bharateesh was the chief guest.
The three-day long event tested the mettle of the policemen on the sports field. Various competitions were held including races, sprint, musical chair, tug of war fancy dress competitions etc.
A march past by all the policemen, representing different sub divisions, who participated in the sports was a highlight of the event.
Moodbidri MLA, Abhayachandra and Excise Deputy Commissioner, N M Hussain were also present on the occasion.
