Sullia, Nov 14: Former MLA Bakila Hukrappa who still commands a lot of respect from the people has now been admitted to Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda Hospital, after being indisposed for some time, on Monday November 13.

His family sources said that he had taken ill almost a month ago and was bed-ridden.  But he had not been admitted to hospital so far.  He is said to have been ailing from lack of blood and hemoglobin.  His condition worsened after he refused to take food.

Finally he was admitted to hospital by taluk JD (S) president Chandrashekhar Melnad on Monday.
