Trainer plane crashes in Indore, 2 trainees injured


Indore, Nov 19 (IANS): Two trainee pilots were grievously injured when a trainer aircraft of a flying club here crashed Wednesday. Both trainee pilots were undergoin treatment in a private hospital.

Pawan Deep and Arshad Qureshi were practising the touch-and-go manoeuvre in a plane belonging to the MP Flying Club when the plane crashed during their second attempt to touch ground.

Airport official Sanjay Agrawal said a search party was sent to locate the plane after it lost contact with the Air Traffic Control. The plane was found having crashed 500 metres from the runway.
