Delhi man arrested in Gurgaon for murder


Gurgaon, Nov 19 (IANS): A 40-year-old man from Delhi was arrested here for murdering a property dealer, police said Wednesday.

Virender Kumar Kundu, in his 40s, was shot dead in Sector 9 here Nov 3 over a property dispute.

Police said they have arrested Santosh alias Jugnu, a resident of Delhi's Najafgarh area, in connection with the murder.

"Kundu was murdered by Jugnu and three other contract killars from Kalu Banjara gang of Delhi," Joint Commissioner of Police Vivek Sharma said.

The property belongs to a Gurgaon woman, who reached an agreement with Kundu, while her brother inked a deal with Jugnu. Kundu held the plot's possession, the officer said.

"Jugnu was arrested Tuesday night on the basis of technical evidences," the officer added.
