Three held for gang raping teenaged girl in Gurgaon


Gurgaon, Nov 17 (IANS): Three people were arrested Monday for gang raping a 17-year-old girl, police said.

Krishana, Monu and Sandeep were arrested for raping the Class 11 student.

The girl Monday filed a police complaint and a case of gang rape and kidnapping was registered at a city police station.

The girl said she was abducted by Krishana, who was known to her, in a vehicle Sunday night from outside her house.

She was taken to a flat - the address of which she did not know - and raped by four people, a police officer told IANS. The fourth man is yet to be arrested.

All the accused are residents of Gurgaon and are school dropouts in the age group of 20-25 years.

They were sent to police custody and the girl's statement was recorded by a magistrate after her medical examination.
