Delhi Police to award 30 people for helping catch criminals


New Delhi, Nov 17 (IANS): Delhi Police will give awards to 30 people for helping the force in averting crime and catching criminals in the national capital.

"They will be given certificates and trophies by Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi. Their efforts will be recognised by police," Deputy Commissioner of Police Ranvir Singh told IANS.

There will be women among the awardees who helped police in nabbing miscreants, he said.

The award function will be held at the India Habitat Centre Tuesday.
