Mangalore, Nov 9: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) will organize a walkathon for communal harmony in Bababudangiri on Nov 23.

Briefing the press on the programme, Sunil Kumar Bajal DYFI State President on Wednesday said that event aims at maintaining integrity of Bababudangiri and to build a communal violence-free Karnataka.

Scholars, progressive thinkers and members of DYFI will participate in the event.

Bajal who elaborated on the communal disturbances in recent times alleged that Sangh Parivar and BJP have violated the court verdict on Bababudangiri.

DYFI city unit President Shashidhar was also present at the press meeting.
