16 injured in Egypt metro station stampede


Cairo, Nov 13 (IANS): At least 16 persons were injured in a stampede after a bomb exploded in the underground metro station of Helmeyet el-Zaytoun in Cairo Thursday.

In a statement, the health ministry said the injuries were all moderate and were caused by the stampede, according to state-run MENA news agency.

No casualties were reported from the explosion itself, it said.
