Islamabad, Nov 13 (IANS): Afghan President Asharf Ghani will pay a two-day official visit to Pakistan Nov 14-15 for talks on security and economic matters, officials said Thursday.

The Afghan president would hold talks with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain, Xinhua quoted the foreign ministry as saying.

Both sides will also review cooperation against terrorism, the peace process in Afghanistan and the repatriation of the Afghan refugees living in Pakistan.

It would be Ashraf Ghani's first visit to Pakistan since he took office in late September. Sharif invited the Afghan president.

Official sources said the two sides were likely to sign a "roadmap" for future relationship.
