Mangalore, Nov 5: The grand VTU Youth Festival will be held at Nitte campus from Nov 8 to 11. The Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthya Memorial (NMAN) institute of technology will be hosting the eight fest informed principal of the institute Dr S Kulkarna.

Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum has been conducting the fest annually. The purpose, he said was to enable students of engineering division to interact with other students from various colleges. Under VTU there are around 130 engineering colleges and about 70 colleges including MSRIT, BMS, BIT, RVCE etc.

The festival has 27 events and so a total of 2,500 students will be participating in these events.

The festival will be inaugurated by deputy chief minister B S Yediyurappa on Nov 8.
