Man with bounty of Rs.50,000 on his head held


New Delhi, Nov 5 (IANS): A 31-year-old man, having a bounty of Rs.50,000 on his head, has been arrested for his involvement in a murder and robbery case, police said Wednesday.

Ravinder, a resident of Rajouri Garden area in west Delhi, was arrested Tuesday from Paharganj.

"He was involved in a murder committed in Sadar Bazar area and he recently attempted to kill two people during a robbery bid. He has some other criminal cases against him. A cash reward of Rs.50,000 was declared on his arrest," Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Ashok Chand told IANS.

A hunt is on for his other four associates - Pardeep, Dimple, Nand Kishore and Sunil, the officer said.
