Militants attack bunker in Jammu and Kashmir


Srinagar, Nov 4 (IANS): Militants Tuesday attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker with grenades in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore town.

"Militants fired two UBGL (Under Barrel Grenade Launcher) grenades at a CRPF bunker outside the State Bank of India building in Sopore," a senior police officer told IANS here.

"One grenade exploded without causing any damage while the other did not explode and was later diffused," he said.

Markets in Sopore were closed in the wake of explosion.
