TVS Motor logs 22 percent sales growth

Chennai, Nov 1 (IANS): Two and three wheeler maker TVS Motor Company Ltd Saturday said its October sales went up by 22 percent as compared to corresponding period of 2013.

In a statement, TVS Motor said it sold 241,044 units (two wheelers 231,990 units, three wheelers 9,054 units) last month as against 197,905 units (two wheelers 189,979 units, three wheelers 7,926 units) sold in Oct 2013.

The company's total exports grew by 51 percent with sales increasing from 23,154 units in the month of October 2013 to 34,855 units in October 2014.

Two wheeler exports grew by 65 percent with sales increasing from 16,750 units in October 2013 to 27,696 units in October 2014.
