Modi condoles Zambian president's death


New Delhi, Oct 29 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday condoled the death of Zambian President Michael Sata.

"Our prayers are with the people of Zambia," Modi said in a statement.

Sata died Tuesday night in London where he was receiving medical treatment for the past week, government sources told Zambian media Wednesday.

They did not specify the precise cause of Sata's death.
