Modi to read people's suggestions during radio address


New Delhi, Oct 29 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday said he would read out some of the suggestions he received from people on diverse range of issues during the second round of "Mann Ki Baat" radio programme.

"It is very gladdening to read views on diverse range of issues, rich insights and interesting anecdotes shared by all of you. Read several thoughts on Swachh Bharat Mission, agriculture, irrigation issues, empowerment of women, skilled India among other topics," Modi said in a tweet.

"Have been going through the wonderful comments, ideas and good governance examples received for 'Mann Ki Baat' radio programme Nov 2. Do keep sharing your ideas on the MyGov Open Forum. I will read them and share some of them during the radio programme," he said.

Modi's second round of radio programme is scheduled for Nov 2. The prime minister had made similar address Oct 3 where he spoke to the people via All India Radio.
