Taslima Nasreen makes her life public, tweets a pic with boyfriend who is 20 year younger to her

New Delhi, Oct 22 (One India) : The exiled Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen on Monday raked another controversy when she posted her photos with her boyfriend on social networking site, Twitter. Not only this, taking everyone to surprise, Nasreen wrote, "My boyfriend in 20 years younger to me. Isn't it cool?" Surprisingly, this tweet was re-tweeted by 22 people in 15 minutes.

By tweeting this, Taslima has made it clear that she is not single anymore. Daring step, isn't it! Taslima, who has been living in exile for the last few years after clerics in Bangladesh issued a fatwa against her, has undoubtedly taken a bold step. It is sure that the speculations regarding her 'enigmatic private life' would come to end following the tweet but she will surely drew flak from the hardliners for this step. The question here arises why she took this extreme step? What was the need to reveal her private life in public? Some people say that she has found, if the tweet is right, a companion which she has been looking for last many years and now she wants to flaunt it.

Taslima was forced to quit her country of origin in 1994 for her controversial writings that were branded anti-Islamic and feminist in a nation largely dominated by the Muslims. Muslim extremists had called for her death following her most controversial book, "Lajja".
