The Class 7 student of Narainya Middle School in Gopalganj district's Mirganj village was found pregnant during a health check-up Monday that shocked teachers and villagers, who have demanded stern action against the accused.

Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar said a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged in a women's police station. "I have ordered an investigation into the case and asked police to arrest the accused soon," he said.
