Mangalore, Oct 18: The annual general meeting of Dakshina Kannada District Tiny Industries Association (DKDTIA) was held here on Monday October 16, a press release from DKDTIA secretary Rajesh D Kamath stated.
Latha R Kini
In the election for the office bearers for the year 2006-07 held on the occsaion, Latha R Kini was unanimously elected at the president, while Padmanabh Shenoy was elected as the vice president. Rajesh D Kamath and Vitobha Bhandary were unanimously chosen as the secretary and treasurer respectively.
Latha R Kini, an industrialist, is a state award winning woman entrepreneur and is the managing partner of Pilot Paints and Bell Paints at Baikampady here. A gold medal winner from Mangalore University, she is also the committee member of executive council of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
