30 killed in Egypt road accident


Cairo, Oct 13 (IANS): At least 30 people were killed and 15 injured Monday in a road accident in Egypt's Aswan province.

The accident involving three mini buses, happened on the Aswan-Edfo road, about 700 km south of Cairo, state-run MENA news agency reported.

Aswan Governor Mostafa Yusry said that most of the victims were local fishermen.

Police have launched a probe to find the cause of the accident.
