New Delhi, Oct 17: Ten years after Priyadarshini Mattoo was raped and murdered, the main accused in the case, Santosh Kumar Singh, was convicted.

Now a practising lawyer in Delhi High Court, Santosh, a son of an IPS officer, was Priyadarshini's college senior.

Santosh had been acquitted by a trial court in 1999.

The quantum of sentence is to be announced later.
