Mangalore, Oct 17: A three-day "College Aids Education Programme" was inaugurated at the seminar hall of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya here on Tuesday October 17 morning.  The programme is jointly organized by Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society (KSAPS), UNICEF, directorate of Collegiate Education in collaboration with School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya.

The programme began with a prayer by Sophia Fernandes.  Dr Ramakrishna Rao, district nodal officer HIV/AIDS and TB inaugurated the programme.  Dr W Linda Christy, joint director, regional office was the chief guest on the occasion.  In-charge principal Prof Rita Noronha presided over the programme.

College faculty Dr Rameela Shekhar welcomed the gathering while Laveena D'Mello proposed the vote of thanks.
