Karkala, Oct 16: The workshop on Media Education organized by ICYM to mark its diamond jubilee year celebration was held under the leadership of Ashwin Machado under Shriva Deanery Council.
The programme was held on Sunday, Oct 15 in the Belman church and was inaugurated by ICYM Central Council director Fr Elias D’Souza.
One of the resource persons Raymond D’Cunha, Taccode emphasized on the need to be a part of media. Francis D’Souza, Pangla taught the participants to create e-mail addresses and introduced them to ICYM, Daijiworld and other websites of the community.

Morrison D’Mello of Belman conducted the inaugural function.
Around 80 youth benefited from this seminar. The Belman ICYM youth president Mervin D’Souza and members participated in the workshop.
