Mangalore, Oct 16: The District Anti Rowdy Squad has arrested one more person in connection with the killing of Goonadka Gafoor who was found murdered in a place of worship on Oct 6.
The squad on the direction of Superintendent of Police DK district went to Anavatti village of Soraba taluk Shimoga district and arrested Ravi alias Annappa Gowda (22).
Annappa is the son of Jagannath, a resident of Thevarateppa Anavatti village Soraba taluk.
The arrest was made on Oct 14 evening and he has been handed over to the CoD team on Oct 15 which is investigating the case.
The accused though from Shimoga district has been working as bus conductor in Mangalore for the last 5 year and after the incident he had gone to his native place and was taking shelter in one of his relative’s house.
