Mangalore, Oct 13: The Boston Tea (India) Ltd., a Mangalore-based company, has received the prestigious Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mangalore - Best Tea Business Award for the year 2006.
Company's executive direcor William Castelino received this award from the hands of Dy chief minister B S Yediyurappa, at a function held in the city recently.
Boston Tea (India) Ltd., a private limited company established in 1986 by 3 enterprising Castelino Brothers – Thomas, William and Rudy, is in the tea, spices, pickles and pappad business for 20 years.
Managing director Thomas Castelino is at the helm of affairs of the company.
Business of Boston Tea (India) Ltd., is spread in the states of Karnataka, Kerala and Goa. They export tea to the Gulf countries.
In 2005 Boston Tea (India) Ltd., has received the Best Tea Export Award from KCCI.
