Nissan Motor India logs 64 percent sales growth


Chennai, Oct 1 (IANS): Japanese automobile major Nissan Motor India logged 64 percent sales growth last month as compared to the corresponding period last year, the company said.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the company said it sold 4,145 units, up from 2,527 units sold during September 2013.

With this, the company closed the second quarter of FY14 with sales of 25,741 units so far, compared to 12,515 units in the same period the last financial year.
