Air India starts cleanliness campaign


New Delhi, Sep 25 (IANS): National passenger carrier Air India Thursday started a massive cleanliness campaign to coincide with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for ‘Swachh Bharat’.

“The Prime Minister has desired that a nation wide campaign be organised with the participation of all sections of society to bring about mass awareness and a lasting behavioural change to achieve this goal," said Rohit Nandan, chairman and managing director, Air India.

Air India's campaign which involves cleanliness drive and awareness campaign is a part of the 'Swachh Bharat Mission' announced by Prime Minister Modi.
