Mangalore, Sep 27: The department of business management of St Agnes College here is organizing first-ever state level inter-collegiate competition 'Horizon '06" on Thursday September 28 and Friday September 29.

The competition will be inaugurated by K V Shanbagh, DGM, Syndicate Bank, at 2 pm on Thursday September 28.  The inauguration of the competition will be followed with ice-breakers in order to bring students of various colleges together.

The second day will be packed with various competitions.  The day will begin with “The Gimmick”, a marketing event.  This will be followed by "Brain Twister", the quiz event and "War of Grey Cells Green Issues", finance event-turning pennies into billions.  Lastly "The Prodigy", the best CEO, an all-rounder would be held.

The valedictory of "Horizon 06" will be held on Friday September 29 at 4.30 pm.  Aroor Prasad Rao, chairman, Shankar Vittal will preside over.

Horizon 06 aims at creating strong, confident, energetic young people, ready to take on bigger challenges of life.  Various colleges from Bangalore, Belgaum, Kodagu, Chikmagalur, Udupi and other place will compete in Horizon 06 along with local colleges.
