Mangalore, Sep 24: To celebrate the completion of nine years of prayer service at the foot of the cross on Holy Hill, Nagori and the entry into the tenth year, the residents of the neigbouring regions held a special praise and worship session here on Sunday.
Hundreds of devotees gathered on the Holy Hill between 5 pm and 6 pm to participate in the worship.
Fr J P Tauro who has been giving spiritual guidance since the beginning of the regular prayer service on Holy Hill conducted the prayer service.
Devotees gather every day between 6 pm and 7 pm at the foot of the cross to offer prayers and join in the community recital of the rosary.
The congregation on Sunday offered special prayers and also sang hymns.
