Mangalore, Sep 22: The Communist Party of India (CPI) state secretary Siddanagauda Patil launched an attack against the Congress party and BJP-JD (S) government at a meeting held as part of nation-wide awareness jatha at Town Hall here on Thursday September 21.

Patil stated that the Congress party has no moral right to fight against corruption and only the CPI can take measures in this regard by creating awareness.

About the state ruling parties, he termed the government as anti-people and said that BJP came in to power only with the help of JD (S) and not with the help of voters.

Among those present were MLC BV Kakkilaya, CPI leader S Chandappa Anchan, B Vishwanath Nayak, Vasanthi Shetty and Sanjeevi.
