Rajnath Singh makes BSF Jawan tie shoelace, stokes controversy

Ahmedabad, Sep 12: Union home minister Rajnath Singh has landed in a new controversy, after getting his shoelaces tied by a Jawan of the Border Security Force (BSF). Although it has become common for political leaders to get this service done through their followers, and higher authorities in police department getting it done through employees in the lower rungs, this incident in which an armyman's services were utilized, has given rise to bitter criticism of the minister.

The incident occurred when the minister visited Kutch border between India and Pakistan on Wednesday for inspection. BSF personnel had escorted Singh to various landmarks in Kutch region, and during this visit, Rajnath sat on a chair for rest.

A BSF Jawan tied his shoelaces as the minister took rest from a tiring tour of this dry belt. It is said that one of his security men also got involved with this task.

Cameramen of some television channels who were present on the spot recorded the incident. The scene was telecast by several channels and posted on the internet. People came out strongly against this action, and lack of respect shown by the minister towards people serving in the army. Thousands poured out their resentment at this act through social media.

The home minister however, is yet to give his response to the criticism heaped on him.

The truth- posted on BSF's official Facebook page "IT HAS BEEN INCORRECTLY REPORTED IN A SECTION OF MEDIA, THAT A SOLDIER OF BSF HAS TIED THE SHOE LACES OF HON'BLE HOME MINISTER SHRI RAJNATH SINGH DURING HIS VISIT TO KUTCH FORWARD AREA. IT IS CLARIFIED THAT HON'BLE HM SHRI RAJNATH SINGH WAS ON A 2 DAYS TOUR TO THE INTERIOR POSTS OF CREEK AREA, IN WHICH DUE TO EXTREMELY ROUGH TERRAIN, BSF OFFICERS REQUESTED HIM TO WEAR JUNGLE BOOTS. HIS PERSONAL ATTENDANT, WHO WAS ACCOMPANYING HIM ASSISTED IN DOING THIS. IT IS CATEGORICALLY DENIED, THAT ANY SOLDIER OF BSF ASSISTED HIM IN THIS REGARD. SHRI RAJNATH SINGH, ON HIS 2 DAY LONG TOUR, VISITED THE MOST INHOSPITABLE BOP WITH A VIEW TO BOOST THE MORALE OF BORDERMAN SERVING IN THESE TOUGH CONDITIONS."

Let it done by congress,BJP or any other parties. Our Jawans job is not to teach to tie shoe lace.
For that they should have asked their political PA.

Tomarrow if he slap jawan also these people will support.
For these blind supporters Modi,Rajnath,Amith Shah is more than Our Indian jawans, their own parents, their families etc.

Shame on these fanatic supporters justifying this act.

Helping someone to tie shoe laces it not an insult. You may see this in any sport feild or tourism spots. The footwear is unique and at times does require assistance. This is just another failed ploy by the Raul Vinci Khan and Antanio Maino Khan led Khangress supporters/followers to defame the current regime. Bunch of cxxts of the first order.

The problem with the Pseudo Secular new magazine and congi supporter have not yet go over the shameful defeat where as the BJP govt have left their victory back and working.
