Mangalore, Sep 21: As part of the Suvarna Karnataka celebrations, the Sandesha Foundation for Culture and Education, is organizing ‘Kalotsava’, a children’s festival of art and communication skills, from October 25 to November 1.

The festival intends to spot and promote the talents among the children and also inculcate in them values like patriotism, love for elders, environment protection, concern for the poor, brotherhood, communal amity and other human values.

The finale will be held on November 1, on the Rajyotsava Day.

The competition will be held under the following categories:
Classical singing (solo) – Carnatic or Hindustani
Classical dance (solo)
Track singing (solo) – social awareness songs
Track singing (group) - social awareness songs
Western singing (solo)
Western instrumental – keyboard
Variety entertainment
Folk dance
Awareness dance (group)
