Udupi, Sep 21: the Hiriyadka police on Sep 19 raided a house in Atrady village and seized sandalwood pieces of around 15 Kgs. The sandalwood was meant for illegal sale.

The team headed by Sri Mahesh Prasad, PSI Hiriyadka Police Station also arrested two persons – Jubeda and Harish Seregar.

Another person named Akbar Ali is absconding.

A case has been registered in Hiriyadka police station.
