Mangalore, Sep 16: Fashion Flash 2006, a fashion design exhibition and an inter-collegiate fashion show, was organised by the Mangalore Institute of Fashion Technology (MIFT) on Friday September 15 at Town Hall here.
Yakshagana critic Prabhakar Joshi inaugurated the exhibition. More than 100 designer garments and fancy jewellery created by the fashion design students were on display.
In the evening, models from different colleges took part in a fashion show competition wearing dresses designed by the students.
Among those present was MIFT founder president M G Hegde.
