Two teachers killed in Haryana accident


Chandigarh, Sep 3 (IANS): At least three people, including two women teachers, were killed and two were injured in an accident in Haryana's Jind district Wednesday, police said.

The victims, who taught in a school in Jind town, were going from Jind to Delhi in a jeep when it collided with a truck near Gosain Khera village, 180 km from here.

Police said that the accident happened when a motorcycle suddenly appeared on the Jind-Delhi national highway.

In a bid to avoid the motorcycle, the jeep and the truck collided. The motorcycle rider was also killed in the accident.

The injured were rushed to a hospital.
