Suspected LeT operatives' judicial custody extended


New Delhi, Sep 2 (IANS): A court here Tuesday extended, till Sep 16, the judicial custody of suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative Abdul Subhan, arrested in a case of planning terror attacks in India, and his aide Asahbuddin.

Additional Sessions Judge Reetesh Singh extended the judicial custody for next 14 days, after the two were produced before him on expiry of their custody.

Sources said Abdul Subhan's name surfaced during the interrogation of two youth from Mewat in Haryana, who were arrested in December last year.
