A peon for 30 years, he has six houses, two luxury cars and more

Gwalior, Sep 2 (NDTV): For 30 years, Kuldeep Yadav has been a peon at a bank in Madhya Pradesh. This morning, raids at three of his six homes in Gwalior revealed assets worth Rs. three crore and counting.

Mr Yadav, who is in his 40s, has worked at the Cooperative Bank since 1983, without a single promotion. His quiet presence apparently concealed wealth that could leave the top executive in his bank in the shade.

In raids that began at 3 am this morning, the Lokayukta or anti-corruption police have found documents for a duplex bungalow, five big houses, two luxury cars, cash, jewellery and bank lockers.

By the time the raids end tonight, officials expect Mr Yadav's wealth estimate to rise to around seven crores.

It was an anonymous complaint that tipped off the police about Mr Yadav's undetected millions.

The police said at a salary that is not more than Rs. 20,000 a month, Mr Yadav couldn't possibly have made more than Rs. 15 to 17 lakh in three decades.

A Peon earning so much asset shows that the scope to earn black money in our country sky is the limit in our nation to amass wealth illegally. We don't know what the tax department was doing and how the state government can allow and tolerate.

Great news but nothing surprising its normal this just shows if a peon has so much just imagine the higher ups and the politicians well at least incidents like these should open peoples eyes and brains. I fail to understand also that a man in his 40's has worked forn30 years? So at what age did he start working? And last but not the least I have been here for 3 decades and difficult to make a fraction of that amount . Jai Hind

This is small amount compared to Rs.13000 crores hard cash unearthed by CBI from a builer in Virar-Mumbai recently. All these amounts are amassed during Congi regime and detected during Modi period.

These are called Benami Assets. The real owner is some big time politician who evades taxes.
Very similar to Nitin Gadkari's driver, Manohar Panse who was director in his 11 companies.

It's confusing! It might be a wrong information or a fabricated story - because, as reported above: a man in his 40s, means he is 40 years of old. And has worked at the Cooperative Bank since 1983 means, he is working there almost 31 years.
So, the big question is - did he start to work at the age of 9 as a child labor...?
    Isn't it......!?

There should be some meaning to your writing. Just penning down words which does not make any sense makes you look foolish.
