Congress youth wing protests outside Rajnath's residence

New Delhi, Sep 2 (IANS): Around 50 members of the Congress' youth wing NSUI staged a protest outside Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh's residence Tuesday demanding that he fulfil the BJP's poll promise of bringing back black money within 100 days of assuming office.

"When he was the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)Rajnath Singh had said at an election rally April 17 in Maharashtra that his party would bring back black money stashed in foreign accounts within 100 days if they come to power. But nothing has happened so far," Roji M.John, president of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) told reporters.

The Modi government completes 100 days in power Wednesday.

According to the police, the demonstrators were detained and have been taken to a police station in central Delhi.
