Mangalore, Sep 11: MLC and former cop, JD (S) leader Adbul Azim visited Kudroli abattoir on Monday September 11 morning.  Mayor K Ashraf, commissioner Krishnappa and other officials accompanied him.

The slaughter house has been closed sometimes ago under the orders issued by state pollution control board.  However, MCC has filed a petition in the High Court questioning the orders issued by pollution control boar.

Meanwhile there has been a lot of pressure to re-start the abattoir, the only official slaughter house in the undivided district of Dakshina Kannada.  Even the officials of pollution control board had visited the abattoir some days ago and had inspected the repair works going on there.

Now JD (S) leader Abdul Azim's visit to Kudroli abattoir is considered to be major step in all the ways.  It is not yet sure as whether it is another political stunt by master tactician, JD (S) supremo Deve Gowda to appease the minority community.  Whatever it may, it is quite sure that the visit has some political aspirations and affiliations coupled with genuine concern.
