Mumbai,August 30: 'Raja Natwarlal' has had an average opening day collections. The film collected 5.75 crores on its first Friday. Starring Emraan Hashmi and Humaima Malick in lead roles, the film had a major obstacle of the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi on its release day.

Even though Friday was a holiday, due to the festivities, not many audiences were expected to flock to the theatres especially in the Maharashtra circuit where Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated in full fervour. Yet, the film performed its best in Gujrat and Mumbai while the rest of North circuits remained poor. With average critics ratings, the film had less chances to have a bumper opening since its pre-release buzz too was not up to the mark.

'Raja Natwarlal' having no competition and a decent screen count is expected to pick up over Saturday and Sunday. The film may not show an exceptional jump but it will have to pull off a good business over the weekend to put up decent opening weekend figures at the domestic box office.
