Ghaziabad, Aug 27 (IANS): A builder was arrested from Indirapuram here Wednesday for allegedly raping his staffer, police said.
In her complaint filed Aug 8, the staffer alleged that V. Raj George, the managing director of Marsas Agrovet Ltd, used to detain her late in the office under various pretexts. After other staffers would leave, he would offer her juice laced with sedative and rape her when she lost consciousness.
When she got to know the reality and protested, he promised to marry her and continued to sexually exploit her, the victim said in her complaint.
"We have arrested George and have produced him before the court which has sent him to judicial custody," said a police officer.
