Kolkata, Aug 27 (IANS): The eighth edition of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz, an annual inter-college competition, will begin its ten-city course across India from Kolkata's Presidency University Sep 5.

The competition, a part of The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week organised by the Embassy of Sweden would culminate with the finals in New Delhi on Nov 1.

It will touch Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Mumbai and Pune before the New Delhi finale, the Swedish embassy said in a media release.

The national champions will win an all-expense paid trip to Sweden, where they would get to visit the headquarters of global Swedish companies, Swedish universities and the Nobel Museum, among other things, the release said.

The quiz is one of the many activities of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week which focuses on students. Other activities include lectures, seminars, exhibitions and cultural performances.
