England put India in to bat


Cardiff, Aug 27 (IANS): England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to field in the second One-Day International (ODI) against India at the Sophia Gardens here Wednesday.

The first match was abandoned without a ball being bowled because of heavy rain.

The squads:
England: Alastair Cook (Captain), Alex Hales, Ian Bell, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes, Chris Jordan, James Tredwell, James Anderson.

India: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Captain), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Shami, Mohit Sharma.
