Mumbai, Aug 17: Recently released trailer of ‘Happy New Year’ not only grabbed maximum response, but also received big thumbs up from Salman Khan. Well, this might not come as a surprise, given the fact that the two super Khans of B-Town hugged to show their renewed friendship at a party.
Salman Khan tweeted saying, "Just saw happy new year ka promo, its Kick ass."
HNY’s director Farah Khan was thrilled over the compliment and replied back thus - "@BeingSalmanKhan: Just saw happy new year ka promo, its Kick ass." Yayyyyyy that makes me soo HAPPY!"
Meanwhile ‘Kick’ has raced ahead of ‘Chennai Express’ with certain reports showing Salman’s film bagging Rs 227.65 crore while SRK’s film had earned Rs 226.70 crore.
'Happy New Year' also has Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. The film will hit the screens on October 24.
