President to address the nation Thursday

New Delhi, Aug 13 (IANS): President Pranab Mukherjee will address the nation Thursday on the eve of 68th Independence Day.

The address will be broadcast over all stations of All India Radio (AIR) and telecast over all channels of Doordarshan in English followed by Hindi translations from 7 p.m. onwards.

Doordarshan will telecast translation of the address in regional languages from 8.00 to 8.30 p.m. AIR will broadcast regional language versions of the address at 9.30 p.m.
