IHM Gangtok wins culinary contest


Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 7 (IANS): The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Gangtok, won first prize at a national-level culinary competition 'Pepp it Up - 2014', held here.

The competition was organised by the Spices Board, India with the International Pepper Community at the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. IHM Gangtok was represented by Lhaden and Wangmu Bhutia who won a cash prize of Rs.50,000.

Kartik Malviya and Shubhadev of IHM Bhopal got the second prize while Suresh Krishna and S. Muthupandian of PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore got the third prize.
