'Aintham Thalaimuraia' my shot at full-fledged comedy: Bharath

Chennai, July 28 (IANS): Actor Bharath, who has been seen in different genre of films in his career so far, says the upcoming Tamil film "Aintham Thalaimurai Sidha Vaithiya Sigamani" is his first short at a full-fledged comedy outing.

"This is the first time I'll be seen in an out-and-out comedy entertainer. Therefore, this film holds a very special place in my heart. The ensemble cast and the high entertainment value will instantly appeal to the audiences," Bharath told IANS.

"The film features over 20 popular comedians and working alongside them was initially difficult, but all that changed in no time," he added.

Bharath believes comedy is a challenging genre to work in.

"Of all the things an actor gets to do in a film, making people laugh, I think, is the most challenging. When people don't laugh at your jokes, they're unlikely to connect with the film and enjoy it. Therefore, I believe comedy is challenging," he said.

"I feel working with several comedy actors over the years has certainly helped me working in this film. It helped me overcome my inhibitions," he added.

Directed by L.G Ravichandran, the film features Nandita in the lead, while a host of comedians such as Karunakaran, Manobala, Thambi Ramaiah, Rajendran and M.s Bhaskar will be seen essaying important roles.
